League will be won tonight when Dundalk beat Rovers. That 4th cup final is about as appealing as watching paint dry, the previous three have been pretty poor affairs tbh and I honestly don't know if I could put myself through another one (I will though). Amazing to think city could be in a cup semi final having played home Farm, Maynooth and Longford. Although that Longford game has all the hallmarks of a big cup shock

It was an unbelievable turnaround in a few minutes. Dundalk nicked one and suddenly it all changed. What happened? Were Sligo good or did Cork just switch off? Was that their first home defeat this season?
Sligo have the 3rd best away record behind city and dundalk, but we were a shambles especially 2nd half. Hold what you have as JC bellowed instructions to clear it long. McNulty error again and at 1 1 there was only one winner as we were done. It's clear the players don't like JC or the style and they are not playing for him like they once did. Once the passion thing stops working then he has been badly exposed. Ya 1st league defeat but rovers, pats and a couple of others should have done us before this.

Harsh on UCD to lose, Dundalk should have been down to 10 men early in the first. If they can keep the bulk of that squad they will be a handful in the premier division
