Last time we came from behind to win...

You say without question, yet Silva does still have a better win % than Sam, which leaves a question to me.

Whether thats the case in a few weeks, well, thats anybodys guess innit.
Yeah but Sizeable Sam has won the Premier League manager of the month 6 times, and a %100 win record as England manager, his record speaks for itself.

Whenever we go behind we will lose most of the time under Silva. It’s something like drawn 4 and lost 18 that’s his records here.

Will be interesting to know the winning % of both at Everton (league only).

This, and the away form is really just beyond poor.

That is my biggest issue with Silva to date. Only when things are going the team's way can we get anything from a game.

In adversity - nothing.

It's these statistics, added to this poor run we are on at present - that leave his position in question.

If he is asked to a meeting with Brands and others for example, then he has nothing to offer in rebuttal when this is put to him.

When was the last time you saw any of our players dig in, roll their sleeves up and set an example
Delph has publicly called his teammates out for it.
However, I'm sure once he's been fully Evertoned he'll realise he's pissing in the wind and look for a move

Have to go back over 2 years further for when we last came from behind away from home.

If I'm not wrong, it was 4 years ago last week.... :(
To be honest, we hardly ever came back from a goal down under moyes, especially away. I remember at West Ham once when we scored 3 late goals i think Saha got 2. But I can’t remember many more times. In 11yrs

Silva has won 17 of 45 league games (37.77%)
Fat Sam won 9 of 24 league games (37.50%)

So Silva is 0.27% better than Fat Sam. That right there is what you call progress.

I think building a team for the future is far more important than short term results. Fat Sam simply got the sack because he bought badly in the transfer market and Kenwright/Moshiri couldn't trust him to build a team of the future capable in getting into Champions League. I'm more than happy to give Silva time as most of his problems can be solved in the transfer market with the blessing from Kenwright/Moshiri knowing the money isn't frittered away like previous managers did.

I don't see the transfer market as our problem at the moment. Everton have bought very well over the last couple of years. On paper we should have a squad capable of competing for a top 6 place. I genuinely believe the problem is within the culture of the club. There's no winning mentality within the culture. There's no real punishment for failure. We need a management structure (not just the manager on his own) that can drive success. The reason the likes of Ferguson and Guardiola are so successful is because they drill success in to their players every single day. There is no other option other than success. That's something we haven't had at Everton in a long, long time.

I agree with this. The only ambition the hierarchy at this club have is to make money from a ground move, and get plaudits for our community work. The on the pitch stuff only matters to them when there's a sniff of the relegation zone in the air. We've been run by football amateurs for decades.
