Last Film You Watched

Got about 1/3 way through Stasis, some sort of straight to Netflix film, and the acting was so pants I turned it off. Very rare that happens. 1/10.

Watched Ghost in the Shell last night...a film that slipped by my radar until recently. Scarlett Johansson in skintight outfit makes this a 7.5/10 rather than my initial 6/10
Decent enough but no Blade Runner

Watched Nocturnal Animals at the weekend. Absolute pile of tosh, a desperate attempt at being arty and quirky but with no substance.
It made Gone Girl look good.

Not been the pictures in about 2 years but recently been twice to see Dunkirk and the new Ape's films.

Firsty, I didn't realise i'd missed going the cinema and will be making more efforts to go in future. Secondly, two boss films!

Just watching Texas Chainsaw Massacre, havent watched it for years, not really into gore films at all but what i loved about this was there isnt OTT blood like you would get in a lot of later horror films. RIP Tobe Hooper

Unlocked -- Michael Douglas, Noomi Rapace and a turn from Orlando Bloom as well......Really enjoyed it and think it will be a new Bourne type but with actual realism...

T2: Trainspotting

Drama about the realities of living in Scotland, artistically presented.

I loved this - but not as much as the director's previous film - 'Take Shelter'

I've heard that's really good, been on my list for beards.

Just seen Atomic Blonde, not bad, not brilliant, pretty much a bi-Bourne-babe in the 80's. Charlize kicks a lot of ass (and indeed shows a bit), can't do an English accent though! The plot has that weird thing a lot of hyper kinetic action films have of being very straightforward yet hard to follow at the same time. Soundtrack is decent if a bit obvious. Was great hearing this again on a state of the art sound system:

Saw Knock Knock on Netflix the other night.

Nasty, awful garbage. Avoid like the plague, Eli Roth is disturbed. Keanu Reeves' dreadful acting was the only redeeming feature (in a so bad, it's good sort of way).
