Damn didn't know Javier Bardem was in it. He's absolutely brilliant in No Country For Old Men. One of my all-time favorite baddies!

That's what I love about the Pirates of the Carribean films, they give great actors like Javier Bardem the licence to totally over act and have real fun in the process.

He steals the show from Jonny Depp.

Forgot to mention there's a cameo from Paul McCartney too - plays Depps Scouse pirate uncle lol

Can't wait to see the film now!

Reason for me to make sure I go and see this: Javier Bardem

Reason for me to swerve: Paul McCartney

Wonder Woman (2017)

Well I wasn't expecting that. It's actually quite good and easily the best in this modern DC world type thing.

I felt a little uncomfortable at one point where she...

went over the top in a ww1 trench and battered some Germans. Somehow felt a little disrespectful/silly to me.

But other than that it's pretty good. And she is really really really fit.

3.5 Championship Belts Out Of 5
Just got back from seeing it and really enjoyed it. As you say, easily the best of the current DC crop but that isn't really saying much as the others have all been rubbish.

Also Gal Gadot might be the most beautiful women in the world.

The original is one of my favourites so I had high hopes too with the second one, however the film is not bad I just felt it was a bit nostalgic in the wrong places especially with all the flashbacks. I would like to see a Begbie stand alone movie.

Finally went to see guardians of the galaxy 2... loved it! 5 post credit scenes as well! I was the only left in the cinema till the end... yes I an that sad.

I really didn't like it. Loved the first one but they made Volume 2 so sentimental it just got boring. Thought it was nowhere near as funny and relied so heavily on Groot/Drax - as they were the only characters who didn't have some sort of life epiphany during it.

There's rumours that they are going to make a film of Danny Boyle book about the " reformed " Begbie into a film.

If you haven't read it, it's called - Blade Artist. ( Begbie is a sculptor, living with his wife and kid in California )

It's been out a while, so should be available in paper back
