A decent cast of actors, so it should be good right?
The poster hints at a comedy?
This falls into the trap of trying to be a 'drama' with some 'comedy' added into the mix.
Unfortunately, it just gets confusing.
If it's a comedy, then there are a few bits of humour.
If it's a drama, then it isn't gritty or detailed enough for the subject.

Watched 'Drive' this evening. Really good film, but I'm hoping someone can clear something up for me:

the robbery of the pawn shop. So Gosling, Hendricks and the other bloke turn up, go into the shop, then that other car turns up, and that bloke gets shot leaving the shop.

What's going on here? Who was in the other car? Hendricks knew they were there 'to stall them', but who wanted the job to fail?

Everything else about the film was great but this particular aspect feels a bit mixed up.

Not pretty but just oozes......something. Same with Oona Chaplin and Jennifer Lawrence.

Thought she was great in Blood Diamonds. No nudity, sex scenes or even a great deal of flesh on show, but you just knew she'd have you for bfast and spit you out afterwards.

Another superb Paul Giamatti performance, Hoffman is fantastic as well, the life and loves of a hard drinking, good timing film producer and his irascible old man with a dash of murderous intrigue thrown in. Funny and tragic. Well recommended.
