Superb and a great follow up.

It's not the classic that the first one is, but it's not meant to be.

Much slower paced, as they're all middle aged, stuck in a rut and unable to let go of the past.

Somehow they managed to get Robbie Carlyle to be even more over the top as Begbie this time around and much more involvement for Ewan Bremner as Spud.

Some stand out comedy moments in it - where they go stealing from handbags in an Orange Lodge social club, being one.

Bitter sweet, hilarious and quite sad in parts.

Highly recommended.
You know, I saw this last weekend. I thought it was good, but I wasn't sure how necessary it was. But it's been really resonating with me all week. I've been hammering the soundtrack in the car as well. I think I might have to reassess my position on it.

I can't wait to see it again, as I reckon there'll be loads of little subtle things that get missed first time around.

I loved the soundtrack too. It was a real mix of sounds again, just like the first one.

I loved the scene in the club, where the whole place is up to Blondie then Run DMC.

I've been in that club ( Espionage) in Edinburgh and it really is just like that scene when the place is bouncing. It doesn't play current music, mainly 80's and 90's and whole place gets up as one to certain songs.

I came out feeling really good afterwards.

Great film.

A film about the Red Army Faction, which terrorized (mostly) West Germany in the 1960 and 70s. I really enjoyed it, maybe it's a bit long (~150 mins), but it's a complex and long story to tell. That said, it can get a bit confusing with so many people involved, especially if you're not familiar with the events. The acting is spot on, and I'd recommend the movie. If you watch it, make sure you get a version with the correct subtitles, in my version the translation was pretty bad and sometimes misleading.

Just watched Passengers and it was ok, a bit hit and miss in places. Could have been better if they had changed parts of the storyline. Also a few things that happened in the film were somewhat far-fetched.

Wasn't too fussed about this film. Far too long and too many dead scenes. Shame really, better edited it could've been excellent.

I agree to a certain point, I've read the producers wanted to make it as realistic as and show almost all persons involved, I still liked it, but I'm also really into history and politics, might help a bit here.

To the Wonder

Mmmm, the use of natural light in this film is incredible.

I've not seen it yet but, the scenery in the trailer I've just watched, makes it something to add to my list (even though Affleck had his hand caressing a woman's stomach, like the scene in Armageddon).

'In a small town, the body of a teenager named Jamie Marks (Noah Silver) is found by the river. Adam (Cameron Monaghan), the star of his cross-country team, becomes fascinated with Jamie- a boy nobody really knew or interacted with, except occasionally to bully him. When Jamie's ghost begins to appear both to Adam and Gracie (Morgan Saylor), the classmate who discovered the body, Adam is caught between two worlds. He has a budding romance with Gracie, but he also feels a deep connection to Jamie, who brings him closer to the world of the undead.'

Acting was great.
Storyline kept you hooked.
Visuals were as the movie required, which was excellent.
Music, in the background, kept adding to the experience.
Pretty much liked this film really.

It's a great film just to sit back and relax too. This film even has a slight plot, unlike most recent Malik films

This was on the other night on Film4, so it'll be repeated.

Cast of one - Robert Redford.

Solo yachtsman in the middle of the Indian Ocean. He wakes up and finds that the yacht has been holed and subsequently has to abandon it and launch the life raft.

The film is then about his survival.

Virtually no dialogue, but Redford is superb in his battle for survival.
