Last Film You Watched

Yeah I watched it right through, was ok, I like most things that utilise that sort of vastness of the US as a backdrop. Thought the main girl was very good. I'm never that keen on Shia Lebeef though and he hasn't really changed my mind here. Will try and check out Paterson soon.

Cheers TeRRy

Saw it at the cinema TeRRy, was great on a decent sound-system. Reckon would make a massive difference.

What type of comedy was it mate? Can you compare the comedy type to a similar movie?

I have to admit I haven't seen either 'In Bruges' or 'Calvary' (added to my ever growing list of films to watch!), that have been suggested as the same type of film.
I'm trying to think of a movie to compare it to but, genuinely can't think of one.
I had recorded stuff, couldn't decide what to watch and put this on. So glad that I did (I've watched a load of rubbish lately).
Dry (clever or think about it but, don't think too hard) humour.
It's a film that, if you're with a few people, you'll laugh a lot or, on your own you'll quietly chuckle (if that makes any sense)?
You've got to watch it now, let me know what you think.

I read earlier that Calvary was the writer's follow up film to The Guard.

Just watched Force Majeure, a Swedish film on Netflix exploring relationships, human instincts etc.

Quite good, glad I didn't watch it with the missus though; just telling her about the plot nearly caused an argument.

'well I can tell you now, I'd always protect the kids first'
'well you don't know that do you.'
'well no, but I just know that I would'

8/10
