Last Film You Watched

Diablo - western with Scott Eastwood & Walton Goggins. It was decent 7/10

Prior to that...

Amonalena - weird animated tale from Charlie Kaufman. Strange but, again, decent. Also 7/10

Went to see suicide squad this weekend, I enjoyed it, I liked the Joker, dead shot and Harley Quinn. I like where DC are going with their films, they are not trying to set them in a real world. The DC films feel like they are a moving comic. I'm looking forward to the next one.

Just watched the ghostbusters earlier.

Hard to review. As a stand alone film it wasn't bad. It was a fun romp with pleasant stars and a good story.

As a ghostbusters film......terrible.
the film literally ripped off Hythe original without bringing anything new to the table. At least acknowledge it, not rip it off. The bad guy was literally zule but different name. Done the same thing and was beaten the same way just with a different angle. They threw all old references in but it just paid a reminder to how good the originals were simply for being original at the time.

They ripped off the glass scene from 2, librarian scene, horribly placed slimer reference, poor story really considering and yeah, just a terrible ghostbusters reboot.

One great thing was telling cameos. Certainly all perfect walk ins for them all I thought.

So overall as a stand alone film 6/10

As a ghostbusters film 2/10

Watched the 2013 remake of - The Evil Dead.

I was dreading it, as the original is such a classic.

It was really very good and my only complaint would be that they've taken all the tongue in cheek humour that the made the original so good, out of it.

Still well worth a watch though and really gets going in the last thirty mins.

He sure does. Billy Mitchell makes an apperance along with Trevor from the first one.

They should of made a sequel years ago about John and his national front ways. Would of been interesting.
Yeah think it would have been a good story, the follow up seems far too late to be relevant now
