The Conjuring 2
I enjoyed the first one, and this is just as good. Just an all out date night film. Chills and spills, sure... some dodgy scripting early, especially the fake British accents, but the photography and design is excellent. It covers all the usual tropes. Wilson and Farmiga again have great chemistry, and it's just a well made film with some clear throwbacks to horror films of the 70's. 7.5/10.

Some great music in that.
Adds to ramp up atmosphere, as does the incredibly clever but simple use of the noise from the scenes with the motion detectors in the corridors. Masterpiece .
