On last night - one of the better vampire films.

Great cast - Ethan Hawke, Willem Dafoe, Sam Neil.

Slightly different slant on the usual as vampires control the world and their food - humans is running out. Willem Dafoe and co fight back.

Worth a watch if you haven't seen it.

Eight pints of blood out if ten.

On your recommendation, I watched this last night...excellent vampire flick with a relevant allegorical theme running through it

Finally got round to watching Sin City 2 and was disappointed with it great cast but just didnt hit the same spot as the first one
This was followed by Expendables 3 and you got exactly what you expect with it,explosions,guns, the usual

Watched Sin City 2 last night, complete disappointment.

High point was seeing Eva Green's norks.

One of the best anti war films ever made with a soundtrack to match - timeless.

So is Citizen X. It's about Chikatilo the notorious serial killer. Only watched it once in about 1997/8. It was perhaps my fave film of that year.

Watch it ('X') if you get a chance and tell me if they're similar enough to be the same thing.

I'm off to download both if I can find them........

Turns out the film Child 44 is taken from a novel of the same name, where the author takes his inspiration from the Chikatilo murders, but moves them thirty years earlier.

For your info there's a factual book about Chikatilo murders called - the Killing Department, which gets very good reviews.

It Follows - Great soundtrack and film. An unnerving film about teenage anxiety.

While We're Young - Really good/funny/kinda sad.

Fully recommend both.

Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter.

Mad title for what is actualy quite a good film.

Period drama, crossed with the Matrix and Vampires.
