Watched Scanners. Been meaning to watch it for a while and enjoyed explodey head man as much as I thought I would. Decent film, although the lead actor was a charisma vacuum.

"The day after tomorrow" is that natural dissaster film, mainly set in New York with Jake Gyllenhaal where there is like a second ice age because of global warming.

Tequila Sunrise. Pretty duff 80s thriller with Kurt Russell, Mel Gibson and Michelle Pfeiffer. Got to thinking, there must have been an awful lot of saxophonists put out of work as the 80s drew to a close.
