Last Film You Watched

I've seen it, what did you think? 'Oculus' next for me then probably 'Horns' (Recent horror list anyway)
I thought it was okay mate not very scary though and the little lad in it is far too annoying. Having said that I'm currently watching ouija which makes the babadook look like a very good film indeed haha

Finally watched Fury this afternoon.

It's dead dead good.

But...not as good as I expected it to be. But that's my fault.

Love a good war film.

The main issues I had was the bit in the middle with the German ladies. Went on a bit too long.

And the end battle. Obviously the point was that it was odds totally against them and yes they did get battered. But surely a 200 strong SS battalion would have had better tactics than running straight at a tank that's shooting at them! Just found it a little unbelievable.

Having said that, I did enjoy the film.

4 Championship Belts out of 5

Watched Jack Reacher. Felt it would've been better if Tom Cruise wasn't in it flaunting his saggy middle aged body. And also without his hollow acting at times. But mainly the shirtless scenes. 5/10.

If you fancy a harmless comedy horror, Tucker and Dale Vs Evil is great fun.

I'll give it a watch over mate nice one

It's a little silly but good fun.

What Iijy said, love this film. Think it makes a good trilogy with Burke and O'Hare and Plunkett and Maclane. Well, they're kind of loosely related...

Whatsherface tho.... preggers boobs :D ;)

Not a film as such but it is damned good. Marco Polo on Netflix, a serial historical drama, brilliant.
This is gash for me

Don't care about any if the characters, terrible acting all over (Kublai/hundred eyes aside) and hearing a Mongol prince talk with an Australian accent really removes any potential immersion

Shot well, though.

Lawless - second crack at this.. Americana crime tale, deep south, hillbilly moonshine runners, brothers at odds, booze and corruption, chock full of actors I really like, like John Hillcoat, screenplay by Nick Cave.. shooting at an open goal for me, was really expecting to love it the way I love Miller's Crossing.. can't figure out why I don't.

Babadook was a bit cack I thought

I found it above average for the dross recooked in the genre, superbly acted, and I didn't see the hellraiser angle coming, nor them utilising 'Papa Lazerou' in parts. Needed more scares though, more of a tension builder in all fairness.
