Naughty that, a bunch of stitched together scenes from superior films (counted at least 4 or 5 tarrantino) and a few others, not least 'the usual suspects' overall.

A cash grab and the tiktok rubbish can get in the bin with it. Sad.

I'm not sure what people expect from Guy Ritchie, he clearly fluked a few films near the start. He is awful

Backrooms – Thought it was rubbish. My son has seen all the youtube stuff and he thought the film was poor as well, even though it’s the same guy who directed it. The theatre was quite full, and it didn’t really hold anyone’s attention, people were constantly getting up and going out, and coming back. One lad in front of me, went out 3 times. Others getting their phones out or messing with food. One girl went out for about 10 minutes. I get it’s a slow build and all that, but the final act is just laughable. The actors did a decent job, but there’s no script.

I think it’s a film that was always going to be a film that was going to divide opinion mate and also one that some audiences would struggle with.

Probably right mate. My son has followed the youtube stuff etc. so he was pushing us all to go and see it. But even he said it's not quite the same as the youtube stuff.

Good idea to wait as it's not worth the money.

This Mickey Pearce (Pearson in 'the gentlemen') was far more fun. (rip Pat Murray)

The story is really a continuation of the one that was background fodder in 'lock stock', (and Vas Blackwood was much more fun)

And 'cos I watched it last week, there was the rip off from the fake rape scene from 'once upon a time in america'.

The landed gentry aspect borrows from 'Saving Grace', the two person story set up remembrances is spacey and Palminteri, the only bit of anything new is the Colin Farrell bit, and he really just plays 'brick top' from snatch with his gang of warriors.

hugh grant wears glasses, a smug grin and throws a few swears around. What a disaster.

Well done guy, you remember watching only fools and horses. Congratulations.

So I've just seen the new Scary Movie film (much against my better judgement I might add) and I truthfully don't know if it was the worst piece of crap that I've seen in my entire life, or if I'm just a miserable old sod who doesn't see that the whole franchise has always been crap but I was just younger and more easily pleased when the first one's where on the cinema. Both could very easily be true.

The most I heard was a few awkward little chuckles that sounded more embarrassed then anything. You could practically hear the eye rolling going along with it.

Yep starts slowly and has that slow build as you say, but then tries to become a more conventional horror but just doesn’t work. Just a strange movie. Goes to show the impact of Youtube ‘shorts’ as a marketing tool.
