Last Film You Watched

Watched "Bugsy" a couple of days ago. 1991 I think, Warren Beatty. Just awful. In fact I sacked it after 45 mins, came back the next night for another 45 mins and I just can't finish it. Woeful on so many levels.

But last night I watched The Sting (Newman, Redford) with one of my lads. Top top film I've seen before but he hasn't. He's a bit of a movie buff. Opening scenes and he's like "is that actor any relation to James Earl Jones". Looking and behold it was his dad. Similar voices apparently.

For those who haven`t seen it, the magnificent revenge film to end all revenge films is on Film4 tonight at 9.30pm.

Sisu.

It also gets major props for the Bedlington Terrier, that remains faithfully by our hero`s side, as he single handidly battles what seems like entire Nazi empire

The body count in this makes John Wick look like a Sunday School outing.

very odd time to start (usually 9pm) my guess is the graphic cartoon butchery. Never seen it, chuck a review up after.

Bugsy (1991) isn't terrible, it's an american mafia movie, but it occupies a part of that history that the godfather covers, and how can they compete with that. It's just a bit camp. Not helped by a very similar camp 'dick tracy' (1990) the year before and with her* in it. Bugsy is the better of the two, but that's not high praise.

Sisu ahoy!
