So maybe we can cut the gorgeous, stunning little lady some slack. 😉

In addition to that, I watched Sam Raimi’s latest offering:

Think ‘Misery’, but a more comedic version of it. 😂😂
Rachel McAdams really plays her part well in it. Definitely worth the watch.

Watched it last weekend.

I particularly enjoyed McAdams channelling her inner Cage at the end, with some wild over acting.

I didn`t think the chemistry between her and Dylan O`Brien as her co lead worked though.

Not that I was that arsed one bit, as it was a " remove brain film " !

Another one, I`m glad I didn`t pay to see

It’s what you’d expect from a Sam Raimi movie: Some crazy over acting, some comedy, a bit of gore…

Coincidentally, I watched ‘The Quick and The Dead’, a couple of days ago, I hadn’t seen it in years, and I didn’t realise it was a Sam Raimi movie as well.

The over the top dramatic duelling scenes in it more or less proved my point. 😂

The Evil Dead will always be his benchmark.

Talking of the Evil Dead, have you seen the Ash v the Evil Dead tv series, that he made with his brother Ivan ?

If not, put it at the top of your to watch list !

Watched Peaky Blinders - The immortal man earlier this week.
Extremely meh.
Felt like the script / screenplay had been drafted for a full series and then they decided to chop it down into a film and rely on leaps of faith storytelling to fill in the logic gaps.

Entertaining but not a patch on the series.
