Last Film You Watched

Kingdom Of Heaven (Directors Cut of course), first time in a few years, tremendous film. I think it helps having Orlando Bloom as an average lead, he acts as the narrator to the events around him and the great characters going about their business. Read a theory about the Hospitaller being an angel, I can see it, I think Ridley Scott hinted at it.

Oh, and of speaking of 'Daves', I watched that movie 'The Bank of Dave' the other day, about that lad who started a small community bank in Burnley.

So, in order to raise funds to start the bank, he organised a rock concert at Turf Moor Stadium. Dyche appears in the film for about 10 seconds, and his contribution: 'This isn't going to work, lad.'
Even in movies, he's a downer, mate. 🙄
It was actually a pretty good movie. Worth a watch.

That is, if you don't mind seeing Dyche's fat mess of a face for about 10 seconds.

Watched "A quiet place: Day one" ...pretty boring/formulaic, and I basically fast-forwarded through about 90%. Pass.
All the rules they established in the originals just seemed to be disregarded. You couldn’t even breath in the earlier films but in this they had thousands of people walking down 5th avenue, do you know how loud that would be? If I remember correctly, the aliens only appear in that scene when the camera focuses on a fella pulling a suitcase. Was it not making noise before 🤣🤣

I think the people all walking together is supposed to be a bit like how the aliens can't hear when water is running. i.e a continuous, consistent noise throws off their hearing.

I thought there was one really cool thing they did with them using the thunder to cover their noise and having to time it based on the lightning.

I watched it reluctantly with the missus and to my surprise really enjoyed it.

As much as he`s such a top fella for everything that he does / has done, he must be a nightmare to be around, as he`s like a jack in the box !

The second film, where he takes on the shyster pay day loan companies, isn`t as good. ( It feels much more contrived )

Lol, I actually wasn't planning on watching it, but it was on, and I was too lazy to find something else to watch, so yeah, ended up sitting through the whole film, and like you said, it turned out to be surprisingly enjoyable.

And I know what you mean when you say 'jack-in-the-box', I've worked with people like that! 😂
Never mind doing your job, it's exhausting just being around them all day!
