It's a fine film, sadly the oj involvement puts it on the same plateau as smith and spacey and douglas to start with. [not equating crimes]
i know what you mean, and OJ's crimes are far worse than Spacey's or Will's (what did Douglas do?)...
but i personally wouldn't want great art to wither because of the involvement of bad people.
Recently enjoyed Towering Inferno, and while watching i just suspend disbelief. When OJ was on the screen i wasn't seeing OJ Simpson, i was seeing the character he played.
i can enjoy Wagner's symphonic preludes too, but recognise he was an übertwat in person.
Interesting moral conundrum, tho'...can art still be enjoyed when the people making it are morally questionable? I believe so, as art transcends mere mortals, art even transcends its own creators.
...but still...moral grey area, maybe...good job Charlie Manson's music was a bit crap.
