The mixture of quality martial arts, weird story and subtitles that seem to just be a random selection of words taking from someones English Dictionary combine to somehow make for utter aceness.

We just watched "Dallas Buyers Club". It was a really good movie, and it did a really good job portraying just how in bed the US FDA and "big pharma" are with each other. It's a good Sunday afternoon movie, as it's rather intense. It'd kill a good mood for a Friday/Saturday night.

Big was on Film4 last night, loved it as a kid and still thought it was brilliant last night.

Night of the living dead. I had not seen the movie since I was about 10 and even then I didn't pay attn because black and whites are for olds. Now that I am the olds I can say that damn that movie was excellent. Perfect friday night viewing.

To top it off it was a double feature on TCM hosted by Anthony Bourdain. The topic was food in movies. The 1st movie was Soylent Green because people are the foods.

Watched 'The War on Democracy' this week. More of a documentary than a film but very interesting. I recommend watching it.
