Always thought that Tobey McGuire's Spiderman films were over-rated - a bit too directly translated straight from the comics. The remakes are more character-driven, and will probably hold up better when you look back at them.

Stakeland , cracking independent film making at its best.Director one to watch ,catch him now before Hollywood calls, oh and vampires back to being the evil monsters of legend instead of cheesy adolescent girl fantasy rubbish like twilight.That and Dredd! seriously underrated and full of violence that will make your teeth jangle.

“They really gave me a tremendous amount of control on the first two films, actually. But then there were different opinions on the third film and I didn’t really have creative control, so to speak.”

“I don’t even want to comment on Venom, because I know he’s a great character and all the fans love him. I never want to say anything bad about a much-beloved character because usually it turns out that I’m the one that doesn’t understand what makes it great.”

Spiderman under Raimi started off good and ended horribly. The first film of this reboot was however excellent imo and better than the pre-existing films.

Watched The Hangover Part 3 this afternoon.

Utter tripe.

It's like they weren't even trying to be funny.

Quite enjoyed 1 and 2 but JESUS CHRIST why even bother here.
