Mudbound on Netflix.Set in Mississippi just after WW2.Two families,one black the other white and the realisation that a black war hero is not a good thing in KKK country.Excellent film,shocking at the end. 9/10

The Thing by John Carpenter again, easily in my top 10 films of all time. The effects are off the scale for the time period and it has aged pretty well, still holds up today.

In case anyone didn't know, The Foo Fighters made a horror comedy earlier this year before Taylor Hawkins passed away.

It's not bad, and it's a nice way to homage to Taylor Hawkins if you're a fan.

Man On Fire (2004)

Another solid performance from the Denz, although I felt his character was never really in mortal danger. That aside, the star of this movie is really Dakota Fanning.

7/10.

Man on fire was awesome!

And of course Training Day. I'm sorry, but that is one of the best performances I've ever seen. It's no wonder he won an Oscar for it.

Mentioned on here before, but Miller’s Crossing is a remarkable piece of work. Great story telling and acting. Really carefully put together. Not a wasted line or scene.
One of the few films I will revisit to watch now and then.
