Last Film You Watched

For anyone interested, MUBI are currently doing their £1 for 3 months offer again... well worth signing up for it for a few pence a month. Lots of good stuff on there, although I struggle to find the time to watch much of it. I always do take the £1 offer, though, as it's worth it even if I watch just one thing.

They have so much good stuff on there at the moment that it stresses me out lol.

There haven't been a lull in quality for a few (with the new film each day part). I've had the full sub for a few years now

Watched The Protege on Amazon Prime.

Action type thriller with Maggie G, Michael Keaton and Samuel L Jackson, directed by Martin Campbell who’s done a couple of bond films.

Some decent action and stunts, but bizarre dialogue and tone, and an ending that felt tacked on, or re-written or badly edited or something.

4/10, but passed a couple hours.

Couldn't make it to the end of Don't Look Up. One unbearable character after another. I know it was meant to be a parody but I didn't like a single thing about it.

Forth time I've seen this. Love it, relentless, pulsating and is under 90mins

Don't Look Up was very good. A frightening look at the reality we are living with in America. Complete denial of a climate crisis is the same as the complete denial of a virus crisis and in the film an exinction level event. If we ignore it it's convenient and popular with stupid people.

We're literally headed towards such a reality when the truth becomes fables to the masses.
