Last Film You Watched

Watched "Oldboy" which was directed by Spike Lee and apparently a remake. Had never heard of it and didn't know what to expect, so it kept my attention. Good acting by Josh Brolin and others, but after googling "Elizabeth Olsen" and finding out she was the younger sister of the Olsen twins, I felt old. I found it enjoyable for the acting and general premise--though the details of the plot are absurd. I give it 3.5 out of 5 Carl Weathers:

I’d highly recommend the original; it’s a masterpiece.

Ok, I know this is not a film as such, I watched Jimmy Carrs' latest stand up and I have to say, despite being a fan, I didn't like it much. His whole new stage set-up threw me at first, (along with his mad new hair, botox face, and glow in the dark teeth), but more importantly he's appeared to have changed his material format/style. Really disappointed.

Omg. You know that comic book character Spiderman? They've only gone and made a movie about it. What an 'outside the box' move they've made. Something fresh. No wonder it made over 1 billion in the box office already.

Faith in humanity restored.
