A collection of fine character actors pledge their craft to this gentle tale of an enigmatic haunting. Fichtner and Coates produce and co-star as laid back lifelong friends in a bucolic university town in upstate NY whose idyllic lives are thrown off-balance when a mystery of the past creeps up on them.
Fichtner co-wrote and directed this good natured and off beat yarn, its really well made, funny and just downright enjoyable. Great ensemble cast, well written and acted, lovely soundtrack.
Proper labour of love.

Just seen Dreamland, its ok but Margot Robbie and Finn Cole are no Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway, its a bit easy to copare them to Bonnie and Clyde but the story is very different, to be honest i think it lacked something, as it was more about him trying to help her on the run and falling in love with her kind of thing, was ok like worth a watch and all that but nothing amazing

Saw Jack Reacher last night... um, I may be in the minority here, but that was terrible!! The actress playing the the lawyer was just brutal!

I watched Jexi the other night, if you want to leave your brain at the door and watch something mildly amusing then it's alright but that's about it.

I actually had a shot with her just after she did one of those earlier movies. Princess Diaries 1 I think. She was at a local bar and I started chatting her up. Asked what she did for work, she said "actress". I literally had no idea who she was so said "heard it's really hard, if you love it stick with it" thinking I'm smooth. Chat with her another half an hour, go to the bathroom and on the way out my friend grabbed me and said "how the hell do you know Anne Hathaway??" with me saying "I don't really I ju...wait, how do you know her name??". Turns out people knew who she was.

She laughed when I brought it up to her, Got her number, we chatted quite a bit for awhile and then never heard anything back which I assume she got a new number and I was a casualty.

Just for reference, I was born/raised in "The Hamptons" in case people thought where I lived I would never run in to her.
