Last Film You Watched

Rambo: Last Blood

I don't care what the critics say. It's a great, brutal, action packed movie. A film doesn't have to be Gone with the Wind to good in its own way. This wasn't intended to be anything more then what it is, an entertaining way to kill an hour and a half. It definitely succeeds in its goal.

I watched Hell Boy II last night on the net. Great film if your into that sort of thing. It really works as it does'nt take itself to seriously. If you liked the first one, this is just as good. Really funny at times aswell.

As for City of god......Great film if you don't mind sub-titles. Well worth a watch.

I think the 2nd Hell Boy is much better than the first, Del Toro did the 2nd but I don’t think he did the first did he? I tried to watch the more recent reboot not long ago and turned it off about 20 minutes in it was terrible. I’m about 2/3 of the way through Inferno now, no idea why but I’ve watched the trilogy over the weekend as it’s been ages since I’d seen them and couldn’t remember to much about them. They’ve passed time but they aren’t great

Watched 2/3 of Borat before falling asleep

Nowhere near as good as the original. Not his fault like, probably didn't want to make it because it's difficult to be Borat in a country where you had a hit movie.

Will watch the rest tonight but too many non funny scenes or best moments in trailer

Trial of Chicago 7.

It's okay, Sorkin's style seems pretty dated now. Reminds me of a TV drama. And nothing can ever make Eddie Redmayne watchable.

I’m a massive fan of Sorkin but agree his style has gotten a bit tired over the years.

The newsroom for example was just unwatchable.

Was worried I’d feel the same about this but I did really enjoy it.

Redmayne is a wet wipe though.

Spot on about Redmayne, there`s no doubt he can act, but he`s annoying for some reason at the same time.

Not a patch on the original as you said. Never expected it to be though tbh. Genuinely hard to suspend disbelief that half of these people haven't gotten on to who he is either.

A few few proper laugh out loud moments though to be fair. The father/daughter dance bit had me in tears
Also, oddly, the Rudy Giuliani bit, whilst it doesn't look good on his part, was nowhere near as damning as people have made out tbh.

I've actually started watching who is America last couple of days and it's got some rest brilliant bits in it. It's an odd show , a combination of pulling apart ridiculous views such as the fella wanting kids to have guns, to simply trying to humiliate people for having an opinion that wouldn't be too controversial here, if that makes sense?

The mosque one is comedy gold though, really shines a light on southern America!
