Session 9 ( on Netflix)

It’s quite an old film ( 2001 ) and low budget, but it’s a very effective physiological horror, with a good cast.

An small asbestos removal firm gets the contract to clean out an old abandoned asylum.

I won’t give anything else away !

It’s a bit wobbly in parts, but really really gets going in the later stages of the film.

Looked at that last night, looks fun.

I watched one with them over the weekend - Bronx v Vampires.

It was full of cliches, but the kids were good and it could`ve done with being a bit longer.

That one I posted about before - Session 9 is worth a look - terrific ending.
It is a fun film, kids one like, but decent enough to watch with them,I watched the Bronx one myself and enjoyed it,Session 9 I watched a while ago and remember it being decent if a little patchy at times, might give it another look as I cant recall all of it

One of the most incredible filming locations in horror films - Danvers Mental Asylum

Unfortunately they bulldozed it a couple of years ago and build apartments instead - Progress

I saw an episode of Paranormal Lockdown, where they spent 72 hrs in there.

It was pretty intense and I wouldn’t be buying an apartment on that site let’s put it that way !

An anthology of 4 interlocking Halloween stories starring Anna Paquin and Brian Cox. My missus wanted to watch it and I was very pleasantly surprised. Really really enjoyable film.

O I loved this film, not seen it for ages, yeah the setting works really well, especially in the dark!

"Trial of the Chicago 7", its a decent watchable film, avfew good characters in it,felt it played more toward a comedy element than a drama, you dont really get a feel for the political reasons behind the trial but worth a watch
Yeah I think the comedy aspect makes it more enjoyable then it would of been as a straight up court room drama.

Watched this in New York when it came out. Thought it was excellent at the time, really atmospheric, also gets better the longer it goes on. Been a while since i watched it so might give it a go again
