Watched this last night on your recommendation.

It’s the first horror that’s actually unsettled me for quite a while.

Minimal use of CGI and maximum use of creepiness, suspense and location wins every time.

Shades of Sinister, which is still one of my all time favourites.

It’s on Netflix for those that like creepy and disturbing horror films.

Them shamen or whatever they were called were creepy AF,shows how you can make a decent horror film without going OTT
 
Possessor, by Brandon Cronenberg (son of David). It's about an agent who jacks into other people's bodies so they can then commit murders. Good stuff, and obviously influenced by his father's films (as was his first/previous film, Antiviral).
