At least two reasons to watch it, plus the soundtrack.

Watched the Directors cut for the umpteenth time the other night.

Even now I`m still seeing things I`ve previously missed.

a masterpiece in every sense of the word.

One of the very few films that I've pulled the trigger and splashed out on the 4k Disc. Remember thinking Brando was turgid when I first watched it but as I've got older and watched it a few more times Brando's delivery really gets under the skin and the malfunctioning broken weariness of Kurtz is much more apparent to me.

The scene with him and sheen is electric. Sheen looks out of his mind and hasn’t a clue what Brando is on about. Which I believe was largely the case.
Have to say I thought the extended directors cut was a bit indulgent. Been a while since I watched it mind.

His portrayal of Kurt is so good it’s unnerving and does full justice to his character from the book.

There’s so many iconic scenes and performances in that film, it’s hard to know where to start.

Agree, the part with Sheen on the boat with the eccentric colonialists adds nothing at all to the film- although it’s taken from the book.

The Taking Of Pelham 1 2 3, anyone seen the one with Denzel Washington ? Just wondered if its any good, i really like the original, anyone seen this version?

Mandy is pinnacle Cage.

If ever a film was made for a man of his talents it’s Mandy.

MEGA CAGE.
