Just needed to watch a light-hearted film to switch off and take me away from all the troubles going on at the moment, so I chose Contagion. Fairly flimsy storyline of a pandemic orginating in Hong Kong, lots of famous faces but no characters you really invest in or ever understand what makes them tick. Just a good job something like that isn't possible in real life.

In better news I re-watched Alien and Aliens on consecutive days, which are proper films. I'm going all in on saying Aliens is better, usually in the past I have sat on the fence getting splinters up my ass.

Watched ' For a few dollars more' last night. It's Clint Eastwood weekend on one of the film channels here in Spain. Great stuff.

Just watched The Desert Rats, Erwin Rommell played by James Mason, decent old black and white with a bit of original combat footage, kind of like a biography about Rommel, good old film

Last Jedi the worst of the sequels by some margin.

Still, easy enough watch to kill some time. 5/10
