Last Film You Watched

Willow on Disney+, haven't seen it for decades and the years have not been kind on the special effects but it's a fun watch and reminded me how hot Joanne Whalley was back then.

I got work to in Willow as an extra. We'd just moved from Liverpool to Anglesey and quite a bit of it was filmed in Snowdonia. They needed (amongst others) people who could ride a horse. 50 quid a day for 8 days when you had just sat your o levels was rockstar money.

I had to dress up and wear a pigs head. Not a real one.

Story was simple + I didnt notice any bad effects with all the action going on.

Quite funny reading reviews on imdb...they range from 5-9 for the real ones. Then theres hundreds of bangladeshis giving 1/10 as it wasnt filmed in Dhaka lol

If you have been do Dhaka you'd understand why. An absolute squalid dump. Desperately sad.

I can only imagine, was introduced to a Bangladeshi chap a few years ago who raved about how amazing Dhaka was...

Then i heard him wax lyrical about how the place he stayed in Manila was incredible...

...needless to say where he recommended in Manila was a proper dump.

Quite funny that they all marked down the film to 1/10 just because its not set in their city/country.

Happens so often anyway.

If you go back and re-watch at some point look out for the scene with the exploding van when they jump out and you’ll know what I mean haha.

Have to admit to being a little disappointed by this, I dunno why. Maybe it is because there was nothing new in it. A familiar feel to a story told many times in many movies over the years...

Pretty much yeah, death scenes and autopsies are quite gruesome, its not a Sunday teatime film with the family,it is worth a watch though
My problem is the missus likes to multi-task on her phone when watching TV, and she's can't do that with subtitles. So whenever I watch one she calls me selfish.

There's literally dozens of series/films I'd like to watch but can't

I find thats women in general, they can watch 5/6 soap operas on the bounce and tell you everything about them, plus the whole history of said soaps, but cant seem to follow a film plot or watch and read subtitles at the same time
