Last Film You Watched

An interesting fact is more Soviets than Jews died in the concentration camps. You would certainly not know that if you watched the movies and the general way the concentration camps are portrayed.

Add in the numbers killed both on the civilian side and on the military side and it seems to me the sacrifice the Eastern Europeans made is way understated.
Well, that's wrong : an estimated three to three and a half million Russians were murdered in (German) concentration camps compared to six million Jews (of course, many of those were Soviet citizens).

If you add the number of Soviet POWs and civilians the number is clearly larger

You mentioned specifically concentration camps. Anyway, best leave it.

Those are specifically concentration camp figures. The overall figure for Soviet WW2 deaths is actually a mind boggling 27,000,000.

That kind of reinforces the point. I don't think people in general realise just how many Soviets died in Nazi camps.

The Untouchables

At times it's quite good, while other parts are rather silly. Enjoyed Costner, Garcia and De Niro's performances. Connery didn't really work for me, sadly. 6/10
