I love this film
Me too. The first time I ever saw the "aim for the bushes" scene, I was genuinely sore and breathless with laughter, one of the funniest standalone scenes I've ever seen. Wahlberg plays a great straight guy in comedies

Love Michael Keaton in it too.
He's just superb in everything but yeah, one of his best. The funeral fight scene
Not seen that. I enjoyed Looking for Eric, but I think that was simply Eric Cantona being Eric Cantona that did that.
Even The Angels Share which was supposed to be one of his lighter pieces had me grinding my (sugar rotted, NHS neglected, BUPA not-covered) teeth to stumps.
We all have the things we "should" like that we don't. I find Ken Loach absolutely insufferable.
BED.....The exception being the life story of @Joey66 - Kes
Have you seen the Golden Vision? It is a play for the day type thing rather than a film.Is that the argument from "if you don't like something I like it's because you're thick"?
I don't like his movies because every single one is the same cardboard cutouts of noble working-class savages who's personality flaws are only ever brought about by the evil boss class and uncaring institutions.
Your mileage may vary.
The reason I asked is because I don’t think that it is overlooked. Good shout on ‘After Hours’.I rewatched Midnight Run recently. Still think it's a great film. Totally forgot Joe Pantoliano was in it. Has been abar 20 years since I saw it like.
Another 80s classic I saw again recently was After Hours. Absolutely brilliant, up there with Scorsese's best imho.

I love that genre in general, proof to me you don't even need a great script for a comedy you just need good people there with funny faces and delivery.Me too.
