Last Film You Watched

Really enjoyed The Great Gatsby, wish i watched it in 3D now because it was visually great. bit long and predictable, but enjoyable tho. i thought Baz Luhrmann did well with the music, mixing current with old.

I really want the Gatsby to fail.

And it's because 'Baz' just sucks all the money out of the Industry, employs a bunch of W*nkers for ages who all think they are amazing, is bent as a nine bob note but won't admit it, is a Coked Up Personality Blancmange and just makes the worst steaming piles of amoebic detritus ever to grace the Silver Screen.

There's nothing organic about his films. It's film making in the most horrifically sterile, coma inducing environment and I'd rather scrape my eyes out with a Trowel than sit through being force fed face faeces.

AIDS ON YOU, LURHMANN. AIDS.

I didn't really laugh in the first one until the Photos at the end. I swerved 2 and will probably be swerving 3 when the reviewer today referred to it as '****'

Jesus matey - 2 is brilliant in my opinion. Just brilliant.

I watched that first then 1 afterwards. They're very similar but 2 is definitely better.

If you watched 3 having never seen the other two it would be lame but I enjoyed it.

Star Trek: Into Darkness - So so so boss. Wasn't expecting it to be that good. Only really went because my girlfriend wanted to. Thought it'd be boss effects wise but stupid and nerdy. I actually thought the acting was great, especially from Benedict Cumberbatch, and the story was good too. 8.5/10.

League of Extraordinary Gentlemen - Haven't seen it since I was dead young and read it had a 5.6 IMDB rating so fully expected it to be sh*te. Wanted to watch The Lion King on DVD but my girlfriend wanted to watch this (common theme here). Pleasently surprised. The effects were boss considering it was made a while ago and the story was actually quite decent. It was ridiculously unrealistic (of course vampires, invisible men are unrealistic etc. but I mean the likes of people jumping out of 100mph cars and lands on their feet, people surviving after a building has collapsed onto them, 3 marksmen missing the main character with fully automatic rounds from 10 yards away and what not). Liked how it all tied together as if these characters were all from the same world. 7/10.
