Finally got around to seeing the Parasite last night.
I must admit that during the first half of the film, when it’s in comedy mode, I struggled to see what all the fuss was about.
It’s only when it becomes dark and serious that it really kicks into gear (imo).
It won’t be for everyone though.

I'm going to see if I can find it on a 'completely legal internet stream later on. Last night, I watched 'Run Silent, Run Deep' for the first time in ages.
Need help finding a movie (or it may be a TV series) that I'm sure I've seen a trailer for in the past. All I remember is it involved people having AI robots in their household and there's a female one and a little girl and an abusive possible father. Eventually the AI saves the girl from him etc.
I could quite possibly have dreamed all this also.

Watched True Romance again this weekend, it's in my top 10 films I would say.

If it was a dream it was a bloody class concept for a film.

Haha yeh I think I'm gonna have to just give up. Looked at lists and lists of films, typed everything possible into Google etc. I'll just chalk it down as a class dream.

I can imagine a 'father abuse robot' google search may get you into a dodgy rabbit hole lol
Haha yeh it came up with all sorts.
I'm thinking now maybe the father is abusive to the AI woman and the little daughter watches it happens every night, I think the AI gets replaced/repaired when he breaks it, then one time he goes after the girl and the AI woman suddenly becomes sentient and intervenes. Then the AI woman and daughter escape. That's all I can remember.
