Uncut gems. Loved it apart from the end, very underwhelming ending.

Watched The Swallows of Kabul on Prime. Interesting animated film about life under the Taliban. Quite hard hitting in a few places. I really liked the animation style, and at just 80 mins or so I'd definitely recommend it.

Well I loved it just as much as the first; I'm a sucker for a romcom. Happy tears, sad tears, banging soundtrack, smoking hot lead. Just love it.

Most the cast were up to the standard set by the famous 1995 adaption, though nobody will IMO, top Allison Steadman's Mrs Bennett.
As it was taking the micky it could have done with more underwired heaving bosoms...but that's just me.
Oh and more blood.

Watched this last night very slow and meandering. I got bored during it but stuck it out to the end. It's very very good. Definitely not everyone's cup of tea. There's no real action but on reflection it's very thought provoking
