Being part Italian I disagree....my two fave national teams are Italy and USA.

I do find the Spanish a bunch of tools, and have never really liked Uruguay either. No real reason why, just don't like them.
 

I've changed my opinion on Donovan. I was just frustrated of the inevitability that he'll do well and we'll be bemoaning the club for not signing him.

He's got pace, abundance of work ethic and most importantly - has a point to prove.

He's a useful body, will increase interest in the states and having him for ten weeks will be better than none.

I'm not American Chico, but I'll try and help you out here with some handy stuff i've picked up (y)

I think cuba and korea are on the hate list too, on account of them being commies and such??

Here's a general chant I've picked up Chico, it seems you don't need much singy song lark if you're a yank. All you need to do is chant a few things like

DEFENCE DEFENCE DEFENCE when you're defending and such

oh and another one, you put GO in front of any team you happen to be supporting at the time. Examples: GO Everton! or GO USA!

And remember football is now soccer

Rugby is now called football, but they wear big pads take more steroids and throw the ball forwards instead of backwards

Netball is called basketball, but guys play it. oh and they bounce the ball

almost forgot, rounders is baseball. Only americans play it and they use a bigger bat, for some reason it's called a world series! in fact all american sports that are played only by americans are actually world championships :) I think steroids are also a must in this sport too

Merchandising is also big, so get your self lots of memorabilia and such

All sarcasm aside, i do quite like the American folk.

I had some nifty merchandising pics of an American friend who's a big Bears and cubs fan, it would have helped with your education Chico (y)

...... hang on I'll have a go on this, a little box seems to have appeared at the bottom of this typing box thing (I'm highly technical)
