Fair enough, I think that's a sugar coated version of his performance myself. That Chelsea team was so easy to play against and with the loanees and players he had at Derby I'd call that an underperformance.

Fair play to him for sticking at management, clearly wants the challenge. I think he's a million miles away from being a decent manager myself.

Hope he does well. I like Coventry and I like Lampard. Premier league is above his level as a manager though. Think he would do well in coaching roles but probably thinks that's below him

Happy for Frank, think the Championship is more his level manager wise, obviously didn’t work out for him with us and both spells with Chelsea. Said at the time he could have done with staying at Derby for another year but the club legend in him couldn’t turn the Chelsea job down

Despite what I said earlier I do think there might be the nucleus of a good manager in there somewhere. He’s definitely done the right thing by dropping down a level to learn his trade properly. Going abroad more away from the media spotlight might have been even more beneficial
