I think he did OK, looked shattered when he went off on 60 minutes, though that is to be expected. I noticed at one stage in the first half that he went down like a felled tree under a weak challenge and the ref waved play on. He looked totally shocked, it may take him a while to adjust to that part of English football...

Watched his YouTube vids, thought - yes he's ace, then he scored a goal, I thought yes he's ace, then he didn't do much for a while and I thought he was rubbish, but if he plays good in next games will think he his ace again, unless he messes something up- then he's rubbish again
Bit like Naismith.

Anyone else get onto the choice of wording in martinez's post match when he said its a wonderful start to his everton career, seemed a odd choice of words to use for someone whose supposedly only a 4 month loan player
Maybe we have an option for next season

Hard to tell from that performance......did a lot of running , but had little or no service......
But when the ball did come to him , his control left a lot to be desired.....still another option for

I actually laughed out loud at one of his pieces of control. The ball was coming at him high. He tries to bring it down on his foot. Instead he boots it straight into his arm and it bounces miles away.

TRAORE: "When you think it's been nearly five months since I played a competitive game, it was great to get 60 minutes under my belt. I'll start to feel even better when I've had a few more games, but I feel good now. I will start to get my full match fitness and continue improving.''

Is this some sort of joke? I was annoyed that we loaned in an injured striker who was out for a couple of weeks, but he hasn't played a competitive game in 5 months? Joke that

The jury is out with me - delighted that he scored on his debut, but he did very little after that.

He's new to the league, players, manager, tactics. As well as he's coming back from injury.

I'm also delighted he scored (something Lukaku hasn't been doing recently), but I'm going to reserve judgment until a few more games.

I did laugh when somebody behind me said 'I'd rather have Stracqualirsi up there.' On a serious note, we have got to give this lad time, I've heard he hasn't played for around 4/5 months so he's not going to be fresh atm.

yeah his interview on OS says he hasnt played for 5 months! think about players in pre-season and its longer even than that, i like the idea of him playing 60/70 mins then naismith coming on and running around like crazy

Didn't seem too great, poor 1st touch etc but as has been said, give him time, he's lacking match practice, hopefully that goal will give him confidence.

For the first 15 or 20 minutes i thought that at least he looks fairly athletic and as the game went on it started to seem heavenly, as though an Angell was re-appearing.
