he looked very very poor if you ask me rusty or not you can at least control the ball once in game. got the worst touch ive ever seen

Watched his YouTube vids, thought - yes he's ace, then he scored a goal, I thought yes he's ace, then he didn't do much for a while and I thought he was rubbish, but if he plays good in next games will think he his ace again, unless he messes something up- then he's rubbish again

he looked as if he did lots of running around chasing when we didnt have the ball but it appeared that this kind of thing was new to him as he was looking a bit of a dick chasing shadows running around in circles. When he finds his feet (difficult when you are 8' 6") he should start to have a bit more confidence in his own game and we should see a bit more. I liked the way he took his goal, very much in the mold of the new everton,. 'try it and see what happens'. Give him time.

he's a striker that put the ball in the net. What you want from your striker is making the most of the opportunity. He isn't match fit, he isn't used to our game or his teammates. He also put in some good defensive moments breaking up Swansea's play/possession a few times. Im not in love yet, but come on EFC fans, we've got 3 strikers with a knack for goal right now (Lukaku, Traore, and Naismith). This is a good thing.

I do wonder if 5 years from now we will look back at this season and wonder how we didn't win more with all this talent - Barkely, Lukaku, Deulofeu, and Traore - each could end up being top 10 in the world at their position in 5 years. Not to mention Coleman and Baines too...

we'll see. i think monaco may have just bought him too make a profit. i'm sure we'll address it in the summer. decent start today, just have a good feeling about him, was refreshing to see a striker today,

2 of our goals and an assist from our backup front men - is right.

The big rumour was that they bought him due to their owner wanting to help anzhi out financially mate as a way of doing it within the rules

Easy. Barkley, Lukaku, Deulofeu and Traore are all still young and have been injured this year. Coleman, Baines and Oveido also missed significant time. Granted injuries are an issue for every team they hurt us much more than any of the top 8 because of lack of depth. If we stayed healthy all season I think we would have at least 8 more points.
