Current Affairs Labour and Anti Semitism.......

About time we all got a tax rebate and stopped the BBC tax.
I think the main problem is shoddy reporting on the BBC. They go with the flavour of the week story. They rarely dig further to political parties than tired stereotypes like the Tories are uncaring, Labour are bad with the economy and the liberals aren't tough enough to rule.

Its become GCSE level analysis, driven by a desire to reflect social media.

To be fair, no one should need that body of intellectuals and social scientists to point out to them the blindingly ovious fact that the Labour Party leadership have been stitched up like a kipper by the neo-liberal media - and the national broadcaster in particular - over "anti-Semitism".

Anyway, let the crying arse zionists continue to take aim. No one gives a flying one about their fringe issue, and there will ALWAYS, thank goodness, be people in this country who highlight the actions of the gangsters in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv trying to preserve their apartheid regime.

The Guardian has lost its way really. It has no idea who it's core audience is...

Every news story they do goes in the same cycle:

The story
The analysis of the story
The editorial
The anti argument to the story
The feminist veiw
The LGBT view
The BAME view
The columnist attacking another columnist viewpoint
The anti everything isn't society crap column (usually by a comedian).

It's a blue Labour / red Tory paper. The type of paper that thinks Chuka Umunna offers a splendid way forward.

I have to laugh the way in Hollywood films it's portrayed as some sort of crusading organ of the people.

Hey there. May I ask you a few simple questions? It would just be interesting to me to know where you are coming from.

Would you prefer Israel to not exist as a state?

Would you prefer the whole region to become Palestine once again and for the Zionists, as you describe them, to be expelled and pushed back into the diaspora?

Or would you prefer a two state solution?

I'm just curious as to your position on this. It's not a problem if you don't want to comment. Thanks

It's always had its funny rep (35 years ago Yes Minister intoned it's read by those who think they ought to run the country, rather than those who do actually run the country).

But The Graun has always had very strong points (investigative journalism, balance, intelligent without being impenetrable) which genuinely put it up there as one of the best papers worldwide. The problem is since employing an identity-politics-obsessive as editor about 3 or 4 years ago it's become a parody of itself, so now its more laughable traits heavily outweigh its positive ones.

Has the celebrity labour-centrists; your JK Rowlings, Your Eddie Marsans, your David Baddiels, your Dan Hodges, etc etc even mentioned the anti-Semitic Young Conservatives picture?
