LOOK

Can we leave this now, because it's gonna be tit for tat, tit for tat until someone ends up blowing his brains out.

If we're gonna argue, at least lets do it on something interesting like the arguments for the existence of God.

Are we agreed on an end?

He'll answer that in a minute...he's just starting another argument off in an empty house nearby.

Lets just keep talking crap, the boss man will end the thread soon.

I make it 7-5 to Neb tho. He really came into his own the last few posts.

And Dave mate, SHUT IT.

In the midst of this titanic battle, I'd just like to point out that 'officially' we went from Everton having an offer accepted for Naughton to Spurs signing Naughton and Walker. Yet we've known for quite some time that it was a battle between Everton and Spurs for Naughton, some kind of complications and the possibility of a double deal involving Walker. So, it looks like some reporters do get real information and I would imagine some people that post on forums are similarly accurate.

Thats the problem tho Browns, some people do know stuff, but its all so hard to spot between all the proper crap that gets posted by people like "I know 50 footballers me, BarlowsBoots".

Sometimes, they hear something, add a little twist and get lucky.

at the end of the day it's just not cricket that sheffield went back on their word.

the sheffield forums are not happy at all. they really rated these two players and their chairman is going to get it for this double sale.

everyone saying the kyles will be back in the championship next year.. i'm not so sure. i've got a bad feeling we have missed out on quality of future england right back material.

if moyes identified the player as number one transfer target for that position i'm really unhappy the board did not just get the players in. 5th place and an FA Cup final and we are still going for free's, american nobodys (hopefully that mad signing works out somehow) and not putting down some decent coin.

i trust moyes, especially in the championship market where all players cost less than 10 million.

the club should have gone with the man who is holding this club together and bought naughton. undisclosed fee style, and send him on a plane to seattle.

It's not usually that hard to tell, not very many people that make up rumours are clever enough to make them plausible.

Yes, at another club apart from Spurs. I'll be surprised if Naughton plays 10 games this season.

Spurs boss Harry Redknapp has drafted in the duo, despite having full-backs Benoit Assou-Ekotto, Gareth Bale, Pascal Chimbonda, Vedran Corluka and Alan Hutton already at the club.

HAHAHAHAHAHHA. Hope he never stops foot on a pitch EVER.

Taken from football-rumours.com:

For all Everton fans saying Delph will join. This is straight from the horses mouth. Everton made one call about him but did not follow up the interest. Delph himself says Villa and maybe Man U will go in for him. But he is defintly not coming to Everton.

BARLOWS BOOTS

Which players dont you know?

I dont think we've EVER been interested in Delph.

Last I heard Villa are going to pay upwards of £7mill for the lad...and a few Villa fans arent particularly over-joyed for that amount of money.

The Spurs lids on 606 are a bit bewildered about the signing with quotes like "Hutton, Bale etc were all hot prospects when they came" and they're not overly impressed.

They all say Hutton is off out.

Interesting....
