Cannot say i am bothered tbh. Our defence has not exactly been prolific this season. Possibly the poorest defence we have had in a few years and every one of them has to take some responsibility regardless of if they are on loan from Chelsea.

Zouma and Keane played well together until the Chelsea game. Then Mina and Keane played well until the Derby. It just appears once Silva played about with the system it left everyone confused. Zouma is like the Emile Heskey of centre backs has all the attributes to be awesome but somehow is quite average!

Yeah? Worse than last year?

I don't think he'd sign for us anyway. He's never made any suggestion that he'd like to stay. He seems to think he should be playing at a higher level.

Quite possibly the best description of Zouma I've seen and also Heskey.

How does that work? If the appeal is successful, it means they'd have been punished for nothing?

Surely they've got to let the appeal happen before the ban is applied?

Especially so when numerous other clubs have been allowed to sign players while their appeal is in process. Seems either very odd, or FIFA/UEFA are rock solid their ducks are all lined up.

It would make more sense to let them sign players this summer, but if/when their appeal is rejected, (which it will be), they get lobbed a four window ban instead.

edit. Sake, didnt know this was a player thread. Soz mods.
