Was he mentioned at all by Silva? Would think there would be some aim to get him involved since he's been training (albeit, not with Everton) since players came back as he wasn't at the World Cup.

Always liked the look of this lad, think he’s not had it easy with chances few and far between at Chelsea coupled with a bad injury and a loan at Stoke.

Hope he grows into the team and stature over the season. He has all of the raw ingredients to be a special player.

Interested to see how he goes much better with the ball at the feet than people give him credit for and is a absolute physical behemoth. If he can improve his defensive awareness and positioning he will be an excellent addition

..I can understand why he’s suffered with injuries because he often tackles with his wrong leg and throws himself into challenges. He’s very raw but he has all the physical attributes we so desperately need in our defence. He looks similar type to Davinson Sanchez so you have to think he could be an ideal partner for Yerry Mina.
