Is Zouma better than Mina? I'm still not sure he is. Would love to bring him back, but it's going to be beyond 30M at this point. Not sure there aren't better deals out there, but we'd be set at CB for awhile.
Considering I am El Ev's number one fan I imagine I'd be an excellent Chelsea supporter. But to expand on this answer.
In this scenario we arent Everton, 24 years and counting, we are Chelsea, Premier League winners a season ago.

Yeah much better, pretty sure Silva thinks so as well, when Mina was fit enough to play the only time he replaced Zouma with Mina was against Chelsea, rest of the time it was mostly bench
They are different. Mina's potential is crazy. On last season Zouma is definitely better.
I'm sure Mina will come good though.
Yeah because he was mostly injured or on the bench. I hope Mina can come good, but ive more faith in Everton buying Zouma then Mina finding formZouma was part of our worst defensive displays last season whereas Mina, well, wasn’t.

To be honest, we didnt concede in our last 5 home games, and Mina only played one of them, the main man Keane all 5 and Zouma 4, if Mina is finding form then happy daysColombia didn't concede a goal in their 4 Copa America matches, I love him, Could be a real cult hero.

No one except Lampard fully knows who his first choice CBs are, the fact that Rudiger, Luiz and Christensen were ahead of him under Sarri means absolutely nothing. I think Lampard has even played with Zouma so he must be aware of his qualities, so you can’t say there’s “no chance”, for all we know Lampard may rate him as one of their best CBs.There is no chance whatsoever Zouma is anywhere near 3rd or 4th choice mate. Rudiger, Luiz and Christenses are all ahead of him. It's hard to say Azpilucueta playing much more at right back for legs and will likely move inside. He is behind them.
After that you have returning loanees/young players such as Tomori, Baker and even Chalobolah who may all be in front of him given Lampards priorities.
I don't think it's a case of Hector being ahead of Zouma (or Kalas for that matter) more just if they require a lad to be 5th choice and provide a bit of experience over say the younger players, I suspect they will use one of those lads over Zouma. That's essentially who he is in competition with at Chelsea. They won't get 30 million for the other 2 though. If they are concerned over numbers, they will cancel a loan deal before they cancel a big money transfer.
I actually think Lampard will move up Tomori and possibly the lad playing next to him at under 21's.
He is indeed a risk. High risk high reward signing, but he was good last year. His talent is really good. Amazing in the air, great with his feet. Rare combination.Yeah it's all positives. Mina is more of a risk, but it'd be 3 strong options.
