Interesting bit of info.

Zouma played in defensive midfield as Chelsea won the League Cup Final on 1 March after a 2–0 victory over Tottenham Hotspur.
"Mourinho's mastery of the big selection decision was also demonstrated once more by his deployment of Kurt Zouma, a central defender by trade, in midfield to fulfil the role left behind by the suspended Nemanja Matic to outstanding effect"

Might come in handy one day.

Can we borrow it for bolasie? What’s the range on those things? Reckon it can reach Middlesbrough ?
Send it to the North Koreans for a bit of tweaking and with a bit of luck we'll be able to launch him to Hawaii in no time.

Played there a couple of times and was superb as he has the defensive brain and awareness plus technical ability on the ball to use it properly. We could see this utilised a few times this season.

I’m happy we’ve signed him and he has some outstanding physical attributes, but Stoke’s D was comically bad this year. I view him as an insurance policy at best because Holgate is hurt, Jags / Keane stink, and Mina is still developing. Not saying he’s bad, but I’m a bit confused how after he played this past year anyone thinks THAT highly of him.

His stats improved last year on his Chelsea time

I actually think it was difficult to shine in that Stoke team last year, but I've always liked this guy. Great recovery pace. Really strong, great in the air. The only real criticism I have of him is that he's prone to a the odd lapse in concentration. I like Holgate, but I view him as further behind in his development than Zouma

Stokes main fan forum seem a bit split over him, some praise his pace, late blocks and tackles, others say his bad reading of the game made them necessary, time will tell.
