F me sideways, you're a difficult one you, but I'll persist.

Both players are useless, but out of the two I'd rather have Anichebe who is younger, stronger, has a connection to the club and could at least by some miracle turn into a decent player.

Why would anybody want Kone, who is soon to be 30, has absolutely no connection to the club and isn't able to relate to the club or fans, won't get a look in this season anyway and is already on the decline as a footballer? Because years ago he scored a few goals? Let's bring Ronaldo out of retirement then.

Why are you referring to years ago when trying to argue that Kone is a good player? Next you'll be saying he ran us ragged two times last season!

So both are gash, but you'd rather have the striker with a record of 1 in 6, over the one who's record is 1 in 3.....

Ok mate x

Not sure whether it's fair to judge Anichebe on his goal scoring record - he's been played on the wing a lot, has been off the bench more often than not and has improved massively in the last couple of years.

Give the guy a chance,he can and does score goals.
He's been brought in by Martinez who knows what he's capable of,more so than the agenda driven lynch mob who have to a man written him off, just as they did with McCarthy.

So what's my agenda then? Can't be just that I don't rate him as a footballer, no?

And interestingly I always wanted McCarthy.

He scored 13 goals last Season and played most of the games and most of minutes, the only other time he was used as a "sub" was at Sevilla when he scored 1 goal in 4 years, the lads clearly BOSS.

KOne will score in derby and he will become a golden cult hero. word.

You may or may not be tongue in cheek here, but I have little doubt that Kone will be a very successful acquisition. There will be some humble pie to eat for many GOT posters imho.

And Jelavic?...get rid asap

Offer Jelavic plus money to Hoffenheim in exchange for Kevin Volland in January. Looks a good bet to get to the top.
