I am not a fan of rap music so I am not a fan of Kneecap. However trying to use the law against them was a terrible mistake, and if they now sue for loss of earnings it may turn out to be an expensive mistake. I work with solicitors, barristers and the courts, I know that for a summary offence you have to prosecute within 6 months. I don’t know why the prosecution didn’t take place within that period but to try and bring it outside is amateurish to the point of dishonesty. That is twice Kneecap have been through the courts and twice they have won. I think it is time to leave them alone.
Political policing. So obvious I’m embarrassed to point it out. Speaking out against the genocide means the establishment will bury you. The PPS knew the case was flawed but directed the narrative of terrorism. Make something stick then keep bombing children.
