My prediction

Klopp to be Kop flop

He'll be gone inside 2 years and they will be back to square one, looking for somebody to come in with a fillosoffy and a five year plan.

Mao Tse Tung had five-year plans, is he making a comeback :)

When hes on a bad run, which no doubt he will go on,Liverpool fans as usual just like Rodges the last 3 years, or whatever it is,will use there what seems to be there fav word "transition " thats the pharse they are using all the time, how long and how much can they use the word transition, to try and cover up that they are no good any more and just average. they have games comming up that they would be expected to win soon enough so they will make a big deal out of klopp if they do indeed win those games

IIRC he was available and the Everton board in their wisdom overlooked him. Same for Bobby Robson too.

I always thought Robson turned us down before we appointed Gordon.

Either way, we dodged a bullet if you ask me.

Very overrated manager who would have been fired after the '86 World Cup if the Everton contingent hadn't revitalised his team after the lamentable Butch Wilkins was sent off and Robson, who should never have gone to the tornament given he was already injured, predictably limped limped off hurt.

The "hand of God" got him out of jail then.

There was no such excuse two years later during the farcical Euro '88 campaign.

Bobby would of killed it for Dortmund too

He would of gone for two mad young german full backs, with an experienced old german head at the back next to the rolls Royce of german defenders

In midfield he would of got a polish or Austrian midfielder running box to box next to gareth barry

Wouldn't of bothered with a left mid just put any one there, then gone with a mercurial german talent in the number 10 and a boss loan from barca on the wing

With a Bayern munich loanee upfront eventually turning it into a permanent

Oh and Kone and Joel on the bench.

There you have it Bobby would of cleaned up with that team in Germany and won everything
