Kirkby threads

Ok mods, i can understand why you keep closing all the Kirkby threads, but something some one new (sorry for forgeting name) said, was that we are getting new members all the time and they would be interested in reading other peoples views.

(you did say unless something new happened, it would remain closed. to the newer members, this is new and to the older members, their views are new)

maybe sticky one and just let people talk it out in there?

that way it would be all kept in one place and if you wanted to read or add to it you could.

could make life easier for you if it was contained in one thread instead of breaking out into a new one every few hours

i dont agree with a lot of what is wrote, but think it is wrong to deny members a proper place to debate what is to lots of blues, THE major everton talking point. they ALL (myself included) need to reread what they have typed before posting and remember they are talking to fellow blues

agreed chris as other threads are being turned into kirkby ones, at least with the kirkby one i knew which one to avoid. just nip next door but one and flick bogies at him until he gives in to your demands.




some sh1t on a stick is always a great bargaining tool.

There was only the Tesco thread that turned into the same old Kirkby discussion of "Does it matter if its outside the city" etc - I wouldn't say every thread have turned Kirkby related, I cant see another one that has?

See your point about new members but if they wanted to discuss Kirkby, odds are they wouldn't know about a closed thread 25+ pages back and would start a discussion which would eventually be merged with the old thread. And besides, you'll find any Kirkby discussion is dominated by a few members.

At one point the dedicated thread ( http://www.grandoldteam.com/forum/e...d-all-kirkby-stadium-discussion-here-177.html ) was stickied, but that didn't really work out, all of a sudden we were inundated with the political lot.

get the stick ready chris. get one with a y-shaped tip as you can pick a full turd up with one of those.

omg, the thought of it just made a dog shoite wiff pass by me. it's just one of those smells that can spring into your nasal passages at the mere mention of it. others include dead things, b.o. and a flat in wigan that i had to go out to, whatever you have seen on tv on these tenents from hell progs, this was all that x 3.

I dont think there is much to be discussed regarding Kirkby at the moment. I feel every angle and every disagreement have been viewed. If we move to Kirkby, it wont happen for several years anyway.

Yeah there's no point having a Kirkby thread open, it's only one of the most important issues in our club's recent history.

Forgive people for being 'political' and being interested in the club like.

Nothing stopping you from modding all the lads who take it too far and start name calling, but not having a thread open is just asking for every kenwright/tesco whatever thread to turn into a Kirkby debate.
