King Louis Saha

Theres no doubt that Moyes would love to unleash the terrible 2some against teams, but hes clever enough to know he can not play 4-4-2 with the current fit players in the squad. Maybe when we buy Defour in January.......

Don't want the weeble wobble anywhere near the pitch at the moment.
There is no room for sentiment at Everton, and the Yak has forgotten how to play at present, and nowhere near ready to lead our line.
Put him back in the reserves to get fit, and then worry about him when he comes back from Africa. The 6 or so weeks before he leaves could be better spent giving Aggard and co a good run.

Screw fecking Agard, hes gash, this spent force Yakubu you keep refering to. Is that the same player that was possibly 1 of our best vs Villa or the 1 who set up the 2nd goal yesterday with some excellent centre forward play??

Im confused, is Agard the new Messi?

He was our best player against Villa, one of the best players in the first half against Benfica and looked bright yesterday when he came on.

You just have to look at his play for the Gosling goal, the strength and vision to pick out the pass. Or the pass for Gosling against Hull, sheer class.

Awe come on MG.
The guy was tops, but he isn't now, and needs a lot of time to get it back.
His job is to score goals, not assist.

Actually the role of a Lone Striker is to lead the line, to try and score and also to hold the ball up and play others in.

2 weeks ago I would have agreed with you, he looked a joke and really shouldnt have been on the pitch, but the lst few games hes started to look back to his best. His fitness is way up there, he needs a bit of sharpness, ive yet to see him have a decent chance and miss. Its not as if hes misfiring, hes doing all we can expect really.

And with regard to Saha, was he taken off with an injury or was it a masterstroke by 3 times LMA manager of the year Moyes?

My stream went off and next minute the Yak was playing like a World Class Striker. Instead of Saha.

Against Benfica he was shockingly bad.
How you can call Mo, then support weeble wobble is unusual.

He was one of our best players in the first half. One of the few looking for the ball and getting involved. In the second half he was shocking, like the rest of the side. His all round performance against Villa was excellent.

He's one of the few players we have that can make things happen, whether that's scoring or creating a goal. We are so predictable at the moment which is why Yakubu should be in and around the side.

Weeble wobble? You'd have people believe Fellaini was an Olympic sprinter with tenacity and a great workrate. Fellaini and Yak both master the art of jogging slowly around the pitch.

Time will tell, but he's played a fair few matches now with little impact.
I'm sure his form will return, but do we play him for 6 weeks knowing we will lose him in January, or do we give him 45 mins, and a young lad 45 mins?
I know what I would do, but I doubt Moyes will move from his game plan.

I'm sure we'll use him for the next 6 weeks, sometimes starting and sometimes as an impact player. Saha and Jo will also be there, the likes of Agard and Baxter will barely get off the bench.

Please dont start hammering the Yak. He's just come back from one of the worst injurys a pro footballer can get. 9 months out and will take that again to be back on top form.

Sheesh, some people...

looks at bastardo**

This is what worries me.
Jo isn't our player, and can't play against City anyway in Jan. I doubt very much he will get a contract at the end of the season on current performances, so that leaves us with Saha and Yak.
Saha is injury prone, and the Yak isn't safe yet from his injury recurring.

It is very important that we try to bring one of our young strikers ( at least ) into the mix this season, and hope that by the end of the season, they are able to take the next step.

We don't have funding for a top striker, so it's important to look at our future now, and not in the last 2 days of th transfer window like Moyes seems to do.

When we first got him, many were very negative.
I think he is wasted at Everton this season though to be fair. :)

To be fair to who, he likes it here, the crowd like him so why as a blue do you say that?????????????????????:o:blink::mellow:
