2025/26 Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall

Yep, our run in the players had lots.of breaks. Should he hage rotated more? Yes 100% but they were playing once a week most of the season. Look at the Palace game, they'd played 3 days before us yet looked fitter, stronger, sharper.
We had 3 weeks off after the Chelsea game almost like a mid season break came back and looked like we just climbed mount everest with 20kg in our back pack.

I don’t think anyone has ever called N’Diaye ‘bang average’. They say he makes poor decisions at times, doesn’t see the quick pass or the bigger picture, and this is why he barely gets any assists, and plays for Everton rather than Man City.
Not sure why this has bothered you so much as I've definitely seen a handful of posters on here saying basically that or something to that effect. Read through the Ndiaye thread since we hit this run of form and it's full of people saying that they don't think he's very good.

I think beyond the frustrations of a match day thread - the consensus would be that N’Diaye and KDH are very good players - but not the elite level the top sides want.

I guess we’ll see this summer with regard to N’Diaye.

My impression has been more of people throwing the players under the bus as they find it preferable to acknowledging the managers culpability, but happy to agree to disagree.

I agree that it the case of Ndiaye, he would be off this summer had he carried on his early season form, so if there's any positive to take it would be hanging onto him as I do think he has the potential in the right side to be an elite level player.

We can make europe with KDH and Ndiaye, both are good enough and neither are close to our issues with the team. We can also get better players than both, but they wont be available at the price we got both of them for, nor will they be a guarantee with how we recruited last summer.

I think people are overly critical of both, because in order to overcome the massive shortcomings in other areas of the squad, they have to perform at such a high level. When they dont, people look for players to blame, and dont even take into account how few breaks they got this season due to Moyes unwillingness to rotate players. Lets be honest, both are playing out of position as well.

Its the eagerness to do so aswell, like some have been waiting in the wings, furious that a player has been doing well for a long period of time then pouncing on a couple of bad games

In January the same people were adamant that we would be selling Ndiaye as he was too good for us and we should be happy to take the money. Now apparently he's not good enough for us and should be replaced.

As I've said in my original post, it's not hard to figure out why the levels of the players we've relied on the most this season have dropped off a cliff in the last few months. How many times this season have we seen Ndiaye and KDH look like they needed to be hooked around the 70th minute only to end up playing the full 90?

People are pointing out that we've been out of the cups and not had European games so compared to other teams our players have had more rest. Imo, anyone who has experience doing any kind of sport in a serious way will tell you that repeatedly going well beyond your physical threshold on a weekly basis has a cumulative effect. You will be less fatigued even if playing more minutes over the whole season, if you're being subbed off when you have nothing left in the tank.

It's bizarre how gassed they look. Whatever my criticisms of Moyes Mk I, his players were always fit and hungry. I'm not sure what's going on this season but KDH and Ndiaye have played just over sixty games between them this season with loads of breaks and they both look knackered. JOB looked done in on Sunday too. Something is off at Finch Farm seems to be the most likely explanation.

I think you've knocked that one out of the park mate.
They're both good players. Not top top level but we're not competing at that level so it is what it is. But i still think we need to get players in and around both of these with a similar quality. We could do a lot worse than add more players like these as signings. To me its going in the right direction.
